Rag Socks

Finished. I like this yarn. I would use it again. Didn’t have much left (big lady feet).

This is a basic sock: 2x2 rib on top, heel st on heel flap, 2x2 on arch, stockinet on bottom, plain toe. Good to go.

20090504 Rag SockI made the socks a little big, because I’ve been having trouble with socks shrinking after going through the washer and dryer, and all socks go through the washer dryer in this house.

Loose cast on at top done by casting on over two needles (68 sts cast on for my big size 9ers). Not too pointy toes because stopped when 16 sts left.

Project on Ravelry: Cotton/Wool Socks
Yarn: Schachenmayr nomotta Regia Cotton Funny Steps Color

Next up is a baby sweater for a gift.
